Samsung TX1: Gaming
The biggest COVID pivot in Samsung’s TX1 programming came in repurposing the sports partnership budget for the gaming market. Despite a compelling tech story, Samsung Mobile had made little inroads with this audience. I helped concept, write and develop every TX1 Gaming initiative in 2020 along with all supporting media, making sure we created authentic work that appealed to a wide array of gamers and spoke to them in their language.
Our efforts paid off. Gaming became the biggest success story of TX1 in 2020.

Lone Star Challenge
Texas is host to two of the most popular esports teams in the world: the Dallas Fuel and the Houston Outlaws. We sponsored the first-ever Lone Star Challenge: three weeks of live competitions, documentary programming, and the final tournament to determine who ruled Texas in 2020. We even designed the trophy. Word spread like wildfire as we flexed our and our partners’ PR channels to gain news coverage in every major market in Texas.
